2024 Scholarship Contest

We are pleased to announce that we will be selecting two winners and awarding each a $3,000 academic scholarship and a $500 prize for the 2024 Scholarship Contest. In honor of UECU’s 90th anniversary, we are celebrating the Power of Community. For 90 years, we’ve been giving back to those in need in our communities, and now we want to shine a light on students making a difference in their community. For the 2024 Scholarship Contest, we are asking students to answer one important question: How would you make a positive impact in your community with $1,000?

All applicants will be required to submit an entry to explain their idea. For a listing of ideas, check out the 2024 Scholarship Contest flyer. Winners will be selected based on creativity, passion, clarity of thought, and quality of entry. For the 2024 Scholarship Contest, each winner selected will receive a $3,000 academic scholarship and a $500 prize to use toward putting their idea into action.
